The African Digital Health Library (ADHL), Zambia node is a digital health repository that is freely accessible online. As a digital library, its purpose is to digitize a critical mass content from health related Universities, colleges and the Ministry of Health. The collection consist of Thesis, dissertations, medical journals, reports, publications and materials such as reports, policy documents, clinical guidelines and other strategic documents.
Through the African Digital Health Library (ADHL), Zambia node, there is an increased discoverability of medical and health related documents produced locally in Zambia. The platform makes it easier to discover, access and repurpose a wide range of content from the Zambian health sector. This content ranges from academic, research, practice and government Ministerial publications. It is therefore beneficial to students, lecturers, researchers, policy and decision makers and any other health consumers that requires access to a vast amount of local health information.
